As a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at India Eye, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions and performing surgical procedures to restore or improve patients' vision. You will work collaboratively with our team of ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals to deliver the highest quality eye care services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care: Provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose eye diseases, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.

2. Surgical Procedures: Perform a variety of ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract and glaucoma surgery, medical retina, minor corneal procedures, and oculoplastic surgery.

3. Preoperative and Postoperative Care: Conduct preoperative evaluations, educate patients about surgical procedures, and provide postoperative care to ensure optimal outcomes.

4. Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, nurses, and technicians, to provide comprehensive eye care services.

6. Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology by attending conferences, participating in continuing education, and staying updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

7. Patient Education: Educate patients about eye health, preventive measures, and lifestyle choices that can improve their vision and overall eye health.

8. Training. Impart skill and knowledge to Optometrists and paramedical staff to continuously improve patient care. Training program will concur with service excellence.

9. Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, NABH, including patient confidentiality and medical ethics.

Candidate Profile

1. MS in Ophthalmology, two-year fellowship in Ophthalmology, or DNB from Aravind Eye Care System.

2. Proficiency in performing a wide range of ophthalmic surgical procedures.

3. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hindi is required.

5. Dedication to providing compassionate patient care.

6. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The Medical Leader will provide strategic clinical leadership and oversee all aspects of patient care and medical operations. This role is crucial to our mission of scaling quality eye care and establishing India Eye Hospital as a clinical and ethical benchmark in the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise the hospital’s medical team, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure delivery of superior patient care.

2. Oversee the implementation and adherence to clinical protocols, quality assurance measures, and NABH accreditation standards.

3. Develop, execute, and review operational strategies to expand healthcare access, increase surgical and outpatient volumes, and drive excellence in medical outcomes.

4. Mentor and foster growth within the clinical workforce by implementing robust training modules and continuous professional development, in line with service excellence standards.

5. Coordinate and participate in complex case management, morbidity and mortality reviews, and clinical audits to uphold safety and patient outcome benchmarks.

6. Promote patient-centric care by facilitating communication, education, and outreach initiatives—including community screening and awareness programs.

7. Collaborate with administrative, nursing, and research leads to optimize hospital workflow, resource utilization, budget planning, and emergency preparedness.

8. Represent the hospital at local, state, and national forums; build relationships with peer institutions, regulatory bodies, and the broader healthcare community.

9. Ensure full compliance with ethical guidelines, statutory regulations, clinical governance requirements, and data confidentiality protocols.

10. Lead research, innovation, and continuous improvement efforts aligned with advancements in ophthalmology and hospital management.

Candidate Profile

1. MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology (preferred) with significant hospital leadership experience.

2. Minimum 5-8 years’ clinical experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a reputed eye hospital or multi-specialty facility.

3. Strong preferences for candidates who have worked at Aravind Eye Care System, Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi, or LV Prasad Eye Institute, especially those with experience in their community hospitals.

4. Exposure to NABH-accredited environments and quality management systems.

5. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop clinical teams.

6. Strong strategic, operational, and interpersonal skills; fluency in Hindi required.

7. Dedication to compassionate, ethical patient care and continuous learning.

8. Able to relocate to Noida/Greater Noida.

As a Physician at India Eye, you will play a vital role in supporting our eye surgeons in diagnosing and treating elevated blood pressure sugar levels in our patients. You will conduct comprehensive physical examinations, assist in diagnosing health risks, and contribute to the overall success of our eye care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess patients for overall fitness for outpatient cataract surgery

2. Treat patients for elevated sugar levels and blood pressure to help them get ready for cataract surgery

3. Assist Ophthalmologists with pre-surgical procedures, local anesthesia, and help during surgery

4. Follow up with patients at Vision Centers and community eye screening camps (two per week) to help them improve their fitness for cataract surgery

5. Train Ophthalmic Assistants, Optometrists, and other support staff on common diseases related to eye care

6. Lead government secondary school screening program by training nurses and Ophthalmic Assistants

7. Conduct screening camps efficiently and counsel students, teachers, and parents.

8. Perform post-operative patient follow-ups at Vision Centers and screening camps

9. Counsel patients before and post-surgery for great outcomes

10. Travel is required to various districts in UP for secondary school screening programs

1. MBBS degree from a leading medical college

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess patients and meticulously document findings, followed by clear initials with a signature, date, and time.

2. Perform accurate refractions, prescribe glasses in a clearly specified format, and ensure timely delivery of prescriptions to our in-house optical counter.

3. Conduct diagnostics and OPD procedures, including Slit Lamp examination, Applanation Tonometry, Keratometry, A-scan Biometry, Visual Field analysis, and more.

4. Clearly specify provisional diagnoses and provide notes on the optometry-based management plan.

5. Communicate instructions clearly to the Patient Care staff regarding the planned procedures.

6. Take on the responsibility for training Ophthalmic Assistants.

7. Oversee optometry processes during camps.

8. Perform post-operative patient follow-ups at VC's and camp sites.

9. Establish schedules and ensure the calibration of all OPD optometry equipment in Secondary Centers and Vision Centers.

10. Actively contributes to the overall growth plans of the Optometry and Optical departments.

1. B.Sc. Optometry and fellowship from a leading eye hospital system

2. Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations.
